Job summary

Turner Construction Company is offering an Intern/Co-Op position at an active construction project site in Baltimore. The role provides supervised learning across construction management, project safety, subcontractor coordination, and financial management while applying classroom knowledge to real project activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, tracking materials, documenting progress, reviewing RFIs and submittals, and assisting with estimates and project close-out tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university program or Co-op
• Majors include Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• At least 1 year of completed education or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Assist on active project site with supervision
• Support meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting
• Follow project safety protocols and wear PPE
• Assist with shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and contract information
• Attend project site visits and document field activities
• Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Support project engineer, superintendent, and/or manager as assigned
• Assist with quantity take-offs and cost change estimates
• Help with project close-out preparations
