Job summary

Turner Construction is seeking a Construction Intern to assist on an active project site in Baltimore, MD and at a main office. You will support the project team with coordination, documentation, safety compliance, and reporting while learning construction management, business, and project finances.

Eligible students must be enrolled in engineering/architecture/construction management or related programs, with at least one year of study completed.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program and actively pursuing coursework.
• Minimum 1 year of completed education or equivalent.
• Desire to learn construction management and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work at an active construction project site or main office department as assigned.
• Assist with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Support project team and learn from Project Engineer/Superintendent/Manager.
• Prepare and distribute information for contract requirements, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and estimates.
• Attend site visits and assist with project close out preparations.
