Job summary

Western Partitions, Inc. seeks a Logistics Specialist to coordinate shipments from manufacturing facilities to customer sites. You will manage packaging, track orders, and work with production, packaging, trucking providers, and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. On-site Columbus OH position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with construction projects, modular construction, or oversized loads preferred.
• Experience coordinating freight claims and damage resolution preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trucking and transportation providers for outbound shipments.
• Schedule deliveries to customer project sites and construction locations.
• Track shipment status from manufacturing through final delivery; maintain records.
• Coordinate with packaging teams to ensure safe loading and efficiency.
• Verify shipping documentation and delivery records.
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate tarping, load securement, and special transportation requirements with carriers.
• Investigate and document shipping damages, shortages, and delivery issues.
• Collaborate with production, project management, and site teams to support schedules.
