Jobot in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a construction litigation attorney with 5+ years of direct experience to own matters from day one. This on-site role transitions to hybrid work with remote Fridays after approximately six months, based on performance.

The ideal candidate handles both litigation and transactional work, drafts and negotiates construction-related agreements, and possesses strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction litigation.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and NY Bar admission.
• Experience drafting, discovery, motion practice, contract drafting, and arbitration.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and support to clients within the construction industry.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case analysis, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and client matters.
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff on strategy for complex cases.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and staff.
