Job summary

Jobot, a Denver-based litigation firm, is seeking a talented Lateral Associate Attorney to join our Construction Litigation practice. You will handle complex, high-exposure cases with an experienced team serving a diverse client base, including contractors, developers, insurers, and Fortune 500 companies.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Active Colorado Bar license (or ability to waive in).
3–10 years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for construction, general liability, or insurance defense.
Strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
Client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
Ability to meet annual billable requirement of 1,800 hours (150 hours per month).

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
Defend builders, developers, contractors, and insurers in construction defect and related litigation matters
Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and contracts with strong attention to detail
Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in a team-oriented environment
