Job summary

Congruex is hiring a Laborer in Columbus, OH to support construction crews with manual labor, underground utility work, and site safety. You will assist with trenching, conduit placement, concrete work, and field support to keep projects moving efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Outdoor work in varying weather and strict safety adherence are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and MVR review.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in daily safety and huddle meetings.
• Operate tamping machines and assist with equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Load and unload materials and maintain clean, organized worksites.
• Assist with trench excavation, conduit placement, potholing, and utility locating.
• Support concrete forming, pouring, asphalt preparation, and structure installation.
• Observe and promote safety compliance and report incidents as required.
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs.
