Job summary

A construction and service company is seeking a General Laborer for an entry-level, full-time position based in Dublin, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for site preparation, digging trenches, and maintaining tools. Qualifications include 0-3 years in construction, ability to work outdoors in various conditions, and a valid driver's license. Qualifications

• 0-3 years in general construction.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Prior landfill experience preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to travel up to 90-100%.
• Valid Driver’s License that meets MVR policy requirement.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for multiple hours within the workday.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sites for projects.
• Dig ditches, trenches, backfill excavations, level pipes.
• Prepare sites for concrete pours.
• Apply glues, electrical conduits, and fittings for piping.
• Maintain tools and equipment; assist with pulling wire.
• Participate in daily tailgate Health & Safety meetings.
• Understand materials, methods, and tools used on site.
• Understand basic electrical safety requirements.
• Understand construction drawings and prints.
• Assist with pulling and cleaning pumps.
• Weld HDPE pipe and fittings; extrusion weld HDPE liner materials.
• Prepare daily logs for work performed on sites during the workday.
