Job summary

CST Utilities seeks an Underground Utility Laborer in Columbus, OH to support crews installing and maintaining water, sewer, gas, and telecom systems. This role involves physical labor, assisting operators, and ensuring safety in accordance with OSHA standards.

Responsibilities include digging, trenching, backfilling, material handling, and site restoration. Must pass drug screen, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to work in outdoor conditions year-round.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation and repair of underground utilities.
• Perform digging, trenching, backfilling, and site grading.
• Load, unload, and move materials and equipment.
• Support operators and foremen; maintain jobsite safety.
