Job summary

Congruex in Ohio is seeking a Laborer to support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks and assisting with underground utility and telecommunications construction activities.

You will help maintain safe, organized job sites, prepare materials, assist equipment operators, and support field activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable participation in daily field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass required pre-employment drug screening and MVR review.
• Basic knowledge of construction or utility work; training provided.
• Experience in underground utility or telecommunications construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily jobsite safety meetings and crew huddles.
• Operate tamping machines and assist with inspections.
• Load, unload, and organize jobsite materials and tools.
• Assist trenching, conduit placement, potholing, and backfilling.
• Assist structure installation and concrete placement.
• Keep job sites clean and follow safety requirements.
• Other duties within scope as needed.
