Job summary

Congruex is seeking an UG Laborer to support underground utility construction, assist equipment operators, and help maintain safe, efficient jobsite operations. You will perform trenching, conduit placement, site preparation, and restoration while collaborating with internal crews and external clients.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and practical physical work in all weather conditions. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with construction knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic construction knowledge preferred.
• Underground utility construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in daily job-specific safety meetings and huddles.
• Operate tamping machines and inspect equipment for daily use and maintenance.
• Assist with loading and unloading jobsite materials and maintaining clean work areas.
• Support excavation activities including trenching, shoring, backfilling, and conduit placement.
• Perform potholing of existing utilities and assist with setting structures.
• Support concrete forming, pouring, asphalt prep, and restoration activities.
