Mortenson is hiring a Laborer Helper to assist Laborers and Laborer Journeymen. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, handling materials, preparing work areas, and cleaning machines and spaces. The role supports scaffolding setup and debris removal across projects.

The position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and the ability to work with a range of tools. Travel may be required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Ability to operate power and non-powered tools listed; assist with equipment.
• Strong teamwork and communication; professional customer service.
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements; heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling over 50 lbs requires assistance or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by other crafts.
• Clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Move grout and concrete; operate vibrators.
• General cleanup and debris removal; sweeping, washing, loading or burning debris.
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete; vibrate concrete.
• Travel to project sites as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
