Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Laborer to assist teams with material handling, equipment setup, and site cleanup. The role involves loading/unloading, preparing materials, erecting scaffolding, and helping other trades as needed.

Qualifications

• Construction experience preferred.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment listed (power and non-powered).
• Teamwork, safety-mindedness, and effective communication are important.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment.
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by other crafts.
• Clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5X7X16) and staging.
• Level ground for scaffolding.
• Tend motor and grout: lift, unload, move, set, and shovel between wheelbarrows and buckets.
• General cleanup and debris removal, including sweeping, washing, and loading or burning.
• Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete.
• Vibrate concrete.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and levels.
• All other duties as assigned.
