Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Laborer to support form carpenters, concrete operations, ironworkers, and masons on active projects. The role involves manual material handling, form assembly, and assisting concrete finishing teams on a safety-sensitive site.

Responsibilities include site preparation, equipment and material transport, and helping to maintain a clean, organized work area. The candidate should be reliable, able to follow directions, and work well with others in a fast-paced construction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Follow safe work practices per safety program.
• Must take initiative and ask questions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Provide own safety footwear.
• Effective communication with coworkers and stakeholders.
• Strong math and quantitative skills.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare areas for concrete placement and finish work.
• Assemble and position concrete forms and assist in placement.
• Move materials, bags, and tools around the site.
• Support masons, carpenters, and finishers as needed.
• Distribute site materials per project plans and keep site clean.
• Promote safe work practices and secure the site daily.
