Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a construction laborer to prepare sites for daily activities, operate jackhammers and drills, and assist in forming and finishing concrete. You will read plans, follow safety rules, and coordinate with other craft workers to keep the project on schedule.

Responsibilities include handling materials, supervising equipment operation, and maintaining tools while complying with health and safety standards on-site in Georgia.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job.
• Works under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor or manager.
• Independent judgment is not typically required for primary job functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
• Position, join, align and seal structural components.
• Shovel cement and other materials into portable cement mixers and manage mixing/pouring.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications to determine activities.
• Maintain and repair machinery and tools; ensure safety compliance and cleanliness.
