Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a construction laborer to prep sites, perform concrete-related tasks, and support daily operations. You will operate tools such as jackhammers, drills, and cement mixers, and assist in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.

The role requires following plans, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with equipment operators to keep projects on schedule. A strong work ethic and ability to work on site are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with concrete work and hand tools.
• Ability to read plans and drawings and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammers and drills to break concrete or pavement.
• Join, align and seal structural components and pipes.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete with mixers and finishing tools.
• Signal equipment operators to coordinate moves and alignment.
• Finish fresh concrete with floats, trowels, and screeds.
• Maintain and operate pumps, compressors, and generators as needed.
• Read and interpret plans and project specifications to guide work.
• Observe safety rules and maintain a clean, hazard-free site.
