Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a construction laborer to support daily site activities in Texas. The role involves operating jackhammers and drills, mixing and placing concrete, and assisting with formwork and safety.

You will read plans, coordinate with operators, and help manage materials and tools to keep projects on schedule. Physical work outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammers and drills to break concrete or pavement.
• Position, join, align and seal structural components.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete using cement mixers and trowels.
• Signal operators to coordinate machinery movement.
• Finish concrete surfaces with floats and screeds.
• Tend to pumps, compressors, and generators for power.
• Lubricate, clean and repair tools and equipment.
• Read plans and specifications to guide work activities.
• Maintain safety practices and wear PPE.
• Unload and organize materials per project plans.
