Job summary

Hoffman-Construction is seeking an IT Technical Support Technician to image, configure, and deploy Windows workstations for new hires and hardware refreshes, ensuring standardized builds and security baselines. You will support Autodesk and Leica software used in construction and surveying, while providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software, asset management, documentation, and both remote and on-site support.

Qualifications

Must image and deploy Windows PCs (SCCM/ConfigMgr, Intune preferred).
Strong troubleshooting across hardware, Windows OS, networking, and software install/config.
Experience installing/supporting Autodesk/Leica construction/survey software.
Solid customer-service orientation; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Image, configure, and deploy workstations for new hires and hardware refreshes.
Install, configure, update, and support software applications with emphasis on construction tools.
Hardware testing to ensure baseline configurations and licensing.
Asset management through lifecycle: receiving → imaging → deployment → shipping/return.
Troubleshooting and basic repairs of hardware issues.
Provide remote and on-site support; document issues and resolutions.
