Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company seeks an IT Technical Support Technician to image and deploy computers, configure software, and support specialized construction tools such as Autodesk products and Leica software.

You will provide remote and on-site help, document issues, maintain asset records, and ensure builds meet security baselines. This role requires hands-on problem solving, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong communication with non-technical users.

Qualifications

• Imaging and deploying Windows PCs using standard tools.
• Troubleshooting hardware, OS, and software issues.
• Experience with construction/software like Autodesk/Leica is a plus.
• Strong customer service; ability to explain tech to non-tech users.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working independently.

Responsibilities

• Image, configure, and deploy workstations and laptops.
• Install, configure, update, and support software applications.
• Hardware testing and validation for standard builds.
• Asset management through lifecycle from receipt to shipping.
• Remote and on-site troubleshooting and escalation when needed.
• Document issues, resolutions, and imaging processes; update KB.
