Job summary

Tusker Construction Group is seeking a Computer Technician in Buffalo Grove to configure and image large quantities of desktops and laptops, install components, and repair computers. The role requires following imaging procedures, updating BIOS, and performing quality checks to ensure accurate imaging and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include OS installation, asset enrollment, coordinating with sales, and maintaining meticulous records while participating in training and hardware

Responsibilities

• Install components into desktop/laptop computers per order specifications.
• Install and configure operating systems based on requirements.
• Follow imaging/configuration procedures to image systems via PXE or other methods.
• Enroll computer names/mac addresses into customer database for imaging.
• Update BIOS settings and perform QC to verify imaging success.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate with sales on customer expectations.
• Maintain timely follow up with internal and external customers.
• Keep Outlook calendar up to date with scheduled appointments.
• Ensure products are picked per packing list and delivered to shipping.
• Participate in hardware rollouts and training programs.
