D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Construction Intern for Summer 2027 in Fort Wayne, IN.

The program provides hands-on experience across departments with rotations, project work, and field-based activities, offering exposure to homebuilding processes and career opportunities within the company. Interns gain insight into operations, safety, and professional development, supported by mentor guidance and potential future full-time roles after graduation.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (business, construction, real estate, or related fields).
• Demonstrated interest in learning about homebuilding, financial services, land development, or related functions.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function.
• Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination efforts, systems, processes, and other business needs assigned.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, business systems, company policies, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how various areas of the Company support homebuilding, homebuying, business operations, and the customer experience.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, rotations, and other learning opportunities.
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses leading to future full-time employment after graduation.
• Conduct all business in a professional, ethical manner that supports customers and the Company's reputation.
• Ability to work overtime and travel including occasional overnight travel as needed.
