Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, ensuring retention and support for new opportunities. The role requires coordinating daily admin tasks, handling service requests, billing, and coverage analysis.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, active P&C licensing, and strong communication and organizational skills. Hybrid work with remote options are available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business ensuring retention and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities; resolve complex issues.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals; monitor delinquent accounts.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy; communicate workload status.
