Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of account management experience in insurance, with an active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active property & casualty license; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues
• Renewals: research, submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
