Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain accounts, and support new business. The role includes coordinating daily administrative tasks, servicing policies, billing, and claims while maintaining data accuracy across agency systems.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing (CIC or equivalent preferred).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and submit proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections; maintain data accuracy in systems.
