Job summary

A regional engineering and construction management firm in Maryland is hiring a Construction/Paving Inspector responsible for various construction inspections. The ideal candidate will perform duties like verifying material quality and documenting inspection findings. Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• One or more years of experience in construction-related inspection work.
• Current MARTCP or WACEL Asphalt Field certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect paving, concrete, and landscaping restoration.
• Document material placement and verify material sources.
• Complete Daily Inspection Reports and Timesheets.

Skills

Knowledge of basic mathematics

Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs

Fluency in English

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates Degree in Engineering or related field
