Job summary

Chico State Enterprises is seeking an Industry Partnership & Recruiting Coordinator to strengthen ties between the Construction Management program and the construction industry. You will lead employer recruiting and student-industry engagement, serving as the main contact for industry recruiters, alumni, and professional organizations.

The role requires coordinating recruiting programs and major events, supporting internship and full-time pathways, and tracking outcomes to improve program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Communications, HR, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in construction, employer relations, recruiting, career services, workforce development, program/project management, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employers, industry partners, students, faculty, staff, and other external constituents.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, organization, customer service, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent events, projects, timelines, and priorities with independence and professionalism.
• Experience using databases, CRM systems, spreadsheets, or other systems to manage contacts and recruiting activity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for construction industry recruiters, employers, alumni and external stakeholders.
• Develop and expand strategic relationships with construction employers and industry partners.
• Recruit new employer partners and deepen engagement with existing partners.
• Maintain employer contact information, engagement history, and recruiting activities.
• Support the Construction Management Industry Advisory Council with engagement and communications.
• Manage recruiting calendar and coordinate employer information sessions and on-campus activities.
• Plan and execute career fairs and large-scale recruiting events, including logistics and promotions.
• Promote internship and full-time opportunities to students via email and calendars.
• Develop strategies connecting employers with students to boost participation.
• Coordinate facilities and services for recruiting activities.
• Track internship and employment outcomes and prepare reports.
