Job summary

California State University, Long Beach is seeking an Employer Recruitment & Programs Coordinator to lead employer outreach, coordinate events, and expand job and internship opportunities for CSULB students and alumni. The role emphasizes building partnerships with employers and managing CareerLINK postings.

Responsibilities include advising students, coordinating development workshops, and ensuring equitable, inclusive services that support student success and graduation goals.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; preferred in human/social services or related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in student services or related field.
• Experience developing and facilitating workshops; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and execute Employer recruitment presentations and events; develop and implement policies and action plans for employer recruitment events.
• Establish relationships with a wide range of employers, including local, regional, national and international; maintain regular communication.
• Coordinate and review CareerLINK job/event postings; ensure postings meet guidelines and are maximized for use by students and employers.
• Coordinate Student Professional Development Event Calendar with teams to reflect student needs and collaborations.
• Provide career advising and employment assistance to students and alumni; advise on skills, values, and goals.
