Job summary

California State University, Long Beach seeks an Employer Recruitment and Program Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of employer engagement activities, expand CSULB opportunities for part-time, internships, and careers, and build partnerships with the campus and external communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience required.
• Experience in developing and facilitating workshops; strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple recruitment events and calendars.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and execute Employer recruitment presentations and events; develop policies and procedures for employer activities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with a wide range of employers; keep regular contact via direct outreach and communications.
• Coordinate CareerLINK job/internship postings and ensure compliance with guidelines; maximize system usage by campus stakeholders.
• Lead the student professional development event calendar; coordinate planning with relevant teams for each semester.
• Provide career advising and employment assistance to students and alumni individually or in groups.
