Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking a Construction Safety Professional for a full-time role with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote) in Philadelphia, PA. The candidate will assess environments, drive a proactive safety culture, and work with leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of field experience, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• 3–5 years in the safety field.
• Professional certs such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, OHST are a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Valid PA driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite inspections, safety audits, and field observations.
• Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and verify timely resolution.
• Promote proactive safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and engagement.
• Lead Pre-Task Planning, Job Safety Analyses, permit programs, and incident investigations.
• Facilitate new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific safety training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards and project requirements.
• Conduct health and safety assessments including air monitoring and noise surveys.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for leadership.
• Lead or support incident investigations involving occupational health exposures.
