Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking a seasoned Construction Safety Manager to lead safety professionals across multiple commercial projects in the PA/NJ/DE region. The role blends leadership with field safety, client coordination, and occasional hands-on field work.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction safety, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to mentor staff while maintaining high performance standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience mentoring or managing safety professionals on construction projects.
• Experience overseeing safety across multiple sites or projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel regionally (PA/NJ/DE).
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional safety credentials encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support safety professionals across multiple construction projects.
• Visit project sites regularly to support employees and address safety needs.
• Coach and develop staff while maintaining accountability for performance.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding safety personnel.
• Build strong client relationships and provide hands-on field safety support as needed.
• Coordinate staffing and safety resources across projects and participate in client meetings.
• Maintain 30–50% billable project work as required by business needs.
