Compliance Management International (CMI) is a leading EHS services provider with a strong regional footprint. We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety professionals across multiple commercial projects, mentor staff, and strengthen client partnerships.

The role combines field safety with leadership responsibilities, requiring travel across PA, NJ, and DE. You will report to the Lansdale, PA office and may work remotely based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience.
• Experience mentoring, supervising, or managing safety professionals on construction projects.
• Experience supporting or overseeing safety across multiple construction sites or projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and construction safety practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to coach and develop employees while holding them accountable.
• Able to work with field personnel, contractors, project leadership, clients, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and support safety professionals on multiple projects.
• Visit project sites regularly to support employees, evaluate performance, and address safety needs.
• Coach and develop safety staff while maintaining accountability.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing field safety staff.
• Build and maintain client, contractor, and project-owner relationships.
• Provide hands-on field safety support, consulting, and project coverage as needed.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, training, and incident investigations.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and construction safety challenges.
• Help coordinate staffing and safety resources across projects.
• Support client meetings, proposals, and business development when appropriate.
• Maintain 30–50% billable project work when needed.
