Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to lead and mentor safety professionals across multiple commercial projects in the PA/NJ/DE region. The role combines management with hands-on field safety and client support, reporting to the Lansdale, PA corporate office.

Significant travel is required with occasional remote work based on business needs. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction safety, strong OSHA knowledge, and proven

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Experience mentoring, supervising, or leading safety professionals.
• Experience overseeing safety across multiple construction sites/projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach employees while holding them accountable.
• Willingness to perform both management and hands-on safety duties.
• Ability to travel frequently within PA, NJ, DE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor safety professionals on multiple projects.
• Visit project sites to support staff, evaluate performance, and address safety needs.
• Coach and develop field safety staff while maintaining accountability.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Build strong client relationships with contractors and owners.
• Provide hands-on safety support, consulting, and project coverage as needed.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, training, and investigations.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and safety challenges.
• Coordinate staffing and safety resources across projects.
• Support client meetings, proposals, and business development when appropriate.
• Maintain 30–50% billable work, depending on needs.
