Job summary

MP Systems is hiring a Manager, Health and Safety to develop and oversee safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with operations to support safe project execution across sites.

The role trains employees, investigates incidents, and drives a culture of zero accidents, with emphasis on PPE management, risk assessment, and continuous safety improvements within a growing Midwest construction environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (or relevant field) required.
• Prior internship or work experience involving safety or leadership required.
• Valid driver9s license and insured personal transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a proactive safety culture by identifying and preventing hazardous conditions and unsafe behaviors across jobsites, departments, and branches.
• Conduct regular field assessments and jobsite visits to evaluate risks and recommend corrective actions for improved employee protection.
• Serve as a key resource to supervisors, providing guidance on safety procedures and compliance with best practices.
• Facilitate hazard recognition among leadership and coach on practical solutions to improve safety performance.
• Recommend and implement measures to address root causes of unsafe practices or environments.
• Manage the ordering and distribution of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Lead investigations of incidents and injuries, analyze root causes, and report findings to leadership.
