Job summary

MP Systems Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to develop, coordinate, and implement safety programs that ensure a safe work environment and compliance with regulations. You will review jobsites, work with supervisors to identify hazards, and enforce company safety standards.

Responsibilities include field visits, incident investigations, safety training, accident reporting, and maintaining required safety records to support a proactive safety culture across projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of safety and occupational health experience.
• Internship or work experience in safety or leadership is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in an office environment with diverse duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing work environments and safety practices to prevent injuries.
• Support implementation of safety policies per OSHA and company standards.
• Visit jobsites to observe operations and encourage hazard recognition.
• Assist in accident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Prepare documentation for accident reports and safety reviews.
• Ensure safety equipment is present and functional.
• Coordinate safety training and safety talks.
