Job summary

MP Systems Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety programs at our construction sites across Kentucky and the Midwest.

You will ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and other federal guidelines while coordinating safety training and incident investigations. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration with field crews and management to prevent incidents and promote a safe work culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Safety and Occupational Health.
• Bachelor's Degree in Safety preferred.
• Experience in electrical or construction environments preferred.
• Office experience with multiple responsibilities required.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-plan and eliminate hazards daily for work tasks.
• Oversee driver qualification and compliance files under FMCSA rules.
• Develop and deliver safety training on DOT rules and emergency procedures.
• Monitor safety metrics and conduct safety program audits.
• Assist with budgeting and safety department planning.
