Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead relationships with general contractors, owners, developers and design firms in our market. You will manage the pipeline, coordinate with engineers on pricing and scope, and close deals for testing and inspection work.

The role emphasizes building a strong network, maintaining a disciplined forecastable pipeline, and traveling locally with some planning travel to Sugar Land.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the market of the posting.
• Disciplined pipeline habits: documented, forecastable, and honest.
• Comfortable talking specifications and schedules with a superintendent and contract terms with an owner.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
• Own relationships end to end and track permits, bid boards, and project announcements.
• Coordinate proposals with engineering: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry associations, pre-bid meetings, and client events; report pipeline monthly.
