Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the market, pipelines, and proposals for testing and inspection work with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.

You will work with a seller-doer engineer on pricing and technical seals; your focus is relationships, revenue growth, and closing deals. Base salary plus commission on collected revenue, with travel to Sugar Land HQ as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
Own relationships end to end and track permits, bid boards, and project announcements to pursue work.
Coordinate proposals with engineering: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
Represent the company at industry associations, pre-bid meetings, and client events.
Report pipeline and results monthly.
