Job summary

CRH is seeking a Finance Business Partnering Manager to join Oldcastle Infrastructure and lead financial partnering for the Upper Midwest area. You will partner with Area General Managers and support teams to drive strategic direction for multiple manufacturing sites.

You will manage annual plans, budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives, while mentoring a small finance team and coordinating with accounting/FP&A to meet reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CMA/CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of manufacturing finance or cost accounting experience.
• Experience with data mining or planning applications.
• Experience with complex ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, SysPro, Sage).
• Advanced MS Office skills and travel 25%–50%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area General Manager to drive strategic direction for sites.
• Provide operations with tools and reports to improve results.
• Support long-term capital allocation and strategic financial decisions.
• Lead annual strategic plans and budgeting for the area.
• Ensure accurate weekly forecasts and visibility of outturns.
• Analyze plant performance, variances and impact on operations.
• Drive cost reductions and cost-control initiatives.
• Model business scenarios and perform risk assessments.
• Lead, coach and mentor a small finance team (1–3).
• Coordinate with Accounting and FP&A for internal/external reporting.
