Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Construction Service Crew Member to join our team in Iowa. You will repair buildings, read plans, and perform a variety of tasks including doors, siding, roofing, footing setting, framing, and general maintenance.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship across diverse weather and conditions. The position requires lifting, climbing up to 40 feet, and occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction or carpentry (post-frame) preferred.
• Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
• A valid driver’s license preferred; Class A CDL highly desired.
• Available to work 9–10 hours during peak season.
• Ability to take direction.
• Produce quality work efficiently.
• Comply with safety processes and procedures.
• Maintain and operate construction tools safely.
• Operate specialized safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learn, apply Morton Buildings' safety and construction procedures to every project.
• Read and build according to construction plans.
• Repair tasks including doors, siding, roofing, footings, framing, and trims.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule and various weather conditions.
• Work in physically demanding environments with high lifts and heights up to 40 feet.
• Collaborate with crew to keep work organized and productive.
• Troubleshoot problems and think outside the box.
• Be willing to advance within the team.
• Help organize materials and plan daily activities.
