Job summary

Cec Companies is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs on the Stack Project site in Santa Teresa, NM. The role focuses on field safety, regulatory compliance, and coaching employees to foster a strong safety culture on construction sites.

The successful candidate will conduct daily field walks, oversee audits, and develop action plans to address safety issues, with flexibility for day or night shifts and occasional overtime based on project schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety.
• 1 - 3 years in construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Foremen in completing ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses; document daily.
• Work day and/or night shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with field personnel to address safety observations.
• Deliver site safety orientations for new employees.
• Assist site supervision in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Audit power tools and equipment for proper maintenance.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety rules.
• Perform other related duties to support project safety operations.
