Job summary

Cec Companies is seeking a Safety Manager for our Santa Teresa projects. You will lead safety coordinators, conduct audits, investigations, and drive day-to-day safety operations on construction sites.

The role requires CSP/ASP/CHST/STS/CSHO-C certification, OSHA 500/501 training, and 5–7 years of safety management experience, including at least 5 years in a management role. Flexibility for field oversight is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Occupational Safety or Health preferred.
• Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP/ASP/CHST/STS/CSHO-C).
• OSHA 500 & 501 and competent person training.
• 5–7 years of progressive safety management experience.
• Minimum 5 years at a management level.

Responsibilities

• Manage field safety staff, audits, and investigations to support project operations.
• Ensure daily Velocity reports are submitted and reviewed for completeness.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop corrective action plans with project leadership and monitor implementation.
• Maintain records to meet corporate, client, or regulatory requirements.
• Support pre-construction activities to ensure safe execution of work.
