Job summary

Stellar Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field office operations and ensure efficient on-site construction activities. You will work with the Superintendent to uphold high standards and coordinate trades, crews, and materials across projects.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication, with extensive travel (75%+ within the contiguous U.S. and Hawaii) and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or educational equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Proficiency with computer software is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily construction operations.
• Ensure all activities meet the organization's high standards.
• Coordinate all trades and subcontractors per Superintendent’s direction.
• Maintain and distribute up-to-date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate supplies and equipment on site.
• Track project milestones and report issues as they arise.
• Contribute to quality and safety policy development and implementation.
• Support scheduling and planning of construction activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets specifications and schedule.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
