Job summary

The Stellar Group in Baker County, FL, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily field operations. You will work with the Superintendent to ensure on-site construction activities run efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating trades, maintaining drawings, monitoring progress, and contributing to safety and quality policies. Travel up to 75% is required; strong leadership and planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or educational equivalent years (3) of experience required.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing the daily operations of the construction department.
• Oversee and coordinate all trades on the project, including subcontractors according to Superintendent's direction.
• Maintain and distribute up to date drawings and specifications.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate necessary supplies and equipment on site.
• Monitor project progress and report on milestones and issues.
• Assist in scheduling and planning construction activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets specifications and schedule.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
