Job summary

The Stellar Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Seymour, IN to support daily field operations and partner with the Superintendent to deliver projects on time and within standards.

You will coordinate trades, monitor progress, and help implement quality and safety policies while maintaining up-to-date drawings and specs. Traveling up to 75% is required, with a strong emphasis on communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer software and basic IT tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily operations of the construction department.
• Ensure all construction activities meet high organizational standards.
• Oversee trades and subcontractors under Superintendent direction.
• Maintain and update drawings and specifications.
• Monitor supplies and equipment needed on site.
• Track project progress and report milestones and issues.
• Contribute to development and implementation of quality and safety policies.
• Assist in scheduling and planning construction activities.
• Inspect ongoing work to ensure workmanship and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
