Bechtel is seeking a Field Engineer in Brownsville, TX to provide project field engineering specialization, work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination. You will ensure field activities are safe, complete and aligned with project requirements, and support system turnover and subcontract review processes.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience (or 9–12 years alternative).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy and ES&H handbook.
• Experience supervising field activities and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsabilités

• Work Planning & Packaging: prepare construction drawings and facilitate planning methods.
• Material Management: initiate field purchases and equipment takeoffs.
• Quantities: verify commodities in quantity tracking systems.
• Safety/Quality: ensure zero accident philosophy is implemented and followed.
• System Turnover/STR: coordinate turnover activities and subcontractor submittals.
