Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience on large heavy civils project.
• Extensive knowledge of complex construction structures including design, construction and as-built phases.
• Experience interfacing with OEM vendor equipment support.
• Experience with mass fill concrete works and temperature control methods.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project design, engineering documents, model, specifications and BOMs to ensure completeness.
• Plans construction execution, including installation sequence and testing points, with Superintendent.
• Lead temporary works design scoping, approval and certification where required.
• Prepares field installation work packages and field change documents/RFIs.
• Verifies change notices and amendments and analyzes project controls for cost/schedule.
• Initiates field purchases, prepares quantity takeoffs, inspects and issues material to crafts.
• Tracks subcontract progress and contributes to schedules and cost reports.
• Ensures safety, quality and environmental program compliance; conducts inspections and tests.
