Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator for construction projects, performing basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, quantity takeoffs, and cost research. The role involves coordinating with project teams, preparing OPCCs, and supporting procurement and scheduling activities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management and at least three years of related experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze estimates, cost data, and schedules.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including PXPs, schedules and QA/QC records.
• Review specifications, drawings and submittals for compliance and accuracy.
• Support field personnel with technical guidance and change management.
