Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimating professional to support construction projects in California. The role focuses on cost estimation, partnering with PMs and procurement, using Timberline, preparing OPCCs, and coordinating with field teams to ensure accurate bids.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management and at least 3 years of related experience, with travel up to 10%. You will develop baseline schedules and assist with change management and QA/QC on bid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of related estimating experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience with OPCCs and design-build projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks.
• Prepare or assist in OPCCs and design-build estimates using Timberline.
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors for pricing.
• Develop detailed baseline project schedules and work breakdown structures.
• Support QA/QC and change management activities.
