Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an estimator to join our Kansas City project teams. You will perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, takeoffs, and cost research using Timberline to support OPCC preparation.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and subcontractors, developing cost baselines and change estimates, preparing bid documents, and contributing to schedules and budget tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take‑offs and cost research.
• Utilizes Timberline to prepare OPCC and design build project estimates.
• Develops baseline schedules and cost analyses for routine project reporting.
