Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced estimator to perform basic to moderately complex cost estimation tasks across various construction projects. The role includes quantity take-offs, cost research, and coordination with project teams to prepare OPCCs and support design-build efforts.

The candidate will assist in bid preparation, submittals, and procurement activities while collaborating with field teams to ensure schedules and budgets are aligned. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Prepare OPCCs and assist with design-build projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to develop schedules and baselines.
• Support project controls with change management and RFIs.
• Develops or assists in development of purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Lead field teams and review project documentation for accuracy.
