Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented estimator to perform cost estimating, quantity take-offs, and OPCC preparation for diverse construction projects.

You will work with project teams to ensure accuracy in cost projections and bid developments, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers as needed. The role involves preparing detailed schedules, assisting with change management, and supporting field teams with technical guidance and QA/QC processes to ensure project success and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline; 3+ years of related experience may be required.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency depends on duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and researching costs.
• Prepare OPCCs and support design-build projects using Timberline.
• Coordinate bid walks, bidding, and submittals; support project controls and scheduling.
• Develop or assist in development of purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and applications for payment.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and assist with QA/QC activities.
